Target
Target is by default a large company. It\'s great to see a company this big putting effort into mobile design. It\'s very exciting. The designer could have went many directions with their site. It\'s nice to be presented with a search option with a site this large but also with other options down the page just incase I\'m clueless to what I should search for.
Torn Robes
The beauty of this site is not only how nicely designed it is, but how well the interaction is put together when navigating the site. It truly has raised the bar on interaction design on the mobile web. You do not get the full experience without actually using it. Do it now.
Volkswagen
Known for great design in their automobiles, it\'s nice to see such a company as Volkswagen interested in making sure their customers are given a nicely, designed mobile experience. The beauty in the design is that the context has been well planned. You\'re given three, well thought out, choices to choose from.
Coosh
Mass header that spans the entire site is a unique style for a mobile web site; Coosh accomplishes it well. You\'re not quite sure what Coosh does at first glance, but the modern style and feel draws you into learning.
Nike Lab
As one of the most recognized brands in the world, Nike has done a great job at carrying that experience to the mobile web. The dark use of color with photos used for iconography helps balance the contrast of the entire mobile site.
Papa Johns
Your location is important when you\'re wanting something delivered. Having a nation wide company such as Papa John\'s has done a great job by narrowing in on the context of a mobile user by asking for their location.
Hotels.com
Always great to see internet companies this large taking on the effort to have an mobile website.
Walmart
Large links and tap areas. Usability and readability is maximized in this example.
Amazon
Just like Amazon\'s desktop site, their mobile site is simple with large buttons and lots of whitespace.
